Get Out is a critically acclaimed horror film written and directed by Jordan Peele, made famous from the comedy group Key and Peele. This movie follows the story of Chris (played by Daniel Kaluuya), a black man going away for the weekend to meet his girlfriend’s family, but everything is not what it seems.
The movie has received numerous accolades. At the 90th Academy Awards, the film earned four nominations: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Actor for Kaluuya. It also earned five nominations at the 23rd Critics' Choice Awards, two at the 75th Golden Globe Awards and two at the 71st British Academy Film Awards.
